WA. August 2006. Memories are made of these.
WA. 20th October 2007. 16:03 hrs. Anyone whose ever visited Hexham will be aware that the piece of wasteland just adjacent to the signal box is regularly used by the local youths and their off-road motorcycles to perform some of their skills and today would be no different. A screen of dust tarnishes the ex Virgin power car 43099 whilst working 1F28 15:27 Newcastle-Aberdeen GNER service. Power car 43099 was a temporary spare for GNER, but now shares it's duties with the rest of the National Express fleet.

WA. 16th June 2008. 17:43 hrs. Hate it or love it, one cannot deny that it's a far cry from it's former livery of the faded and boring EWS livery. 60040 looks superb and very reminiscent of an image taken some ten years previous at Sandygate Lane whilst working 6D85 Tees Yard-Aldwarke (Steel empties).
