RM. 04th July 2009. 18:12 hrs. Firstly, can I just say that this image wasn't taken by myself, but by a fellow Railway photographer, Roy Millsy. This Image of 66412 easily makes it into my all time top 3 and deservedly so. Under superb evening light
WA. 24th June 2009. 20:02 hrs. Summertime blues, un-branded 57316 makes rapid progress along the Penmaenmawr coastline in charge of 1W91 16:17 Cardiff Central-Holyhead under a spell of optimum evening light.
WA. 16th February 2008. 12:56 hrs. Undoubtedly the most popular machines to run on the BR system. Built in 1963 at the famous Swindon works Western Champion would only see a mere 13 years in service before being withdrawn in December of 1976 and later preserved. In such a short space of time she'd of covered an impressive 1.3 million miles. Aptly named
